Love is in the Air
You know those illuminated digital signs you see around Paris? Well, the city is giving you the chance to use them. So you can send a message of love to that special person in your life. You have until February 9th to go online and write your declaration – after that, just wait until February 14 to see it up in lights and shared with the world on 170 panels throughout Paris! Outta this world
Ever dreamed of being an Astronaut? If so you might enjoy the new exhibition at the Palais de la Decourvérte. Explorer Mars is designed to take you on a tour of the Red Planet with a simulated experience that immerses you in a Martian landscape – perfect for wannabe space explorers reserve your tickets now. Percussion Gone Mad
If you want to take in a fantastic show in Paris and you love Music, plus you want to inspire the kids then there are two top shows on in Paris at the moment. Stomp, which MLP has seen in London takes you on a crazy trip of sound creation using everyday objects. It’s such a fun unforgettable experience and it’s on until Feb 5.

The Year of the Fire Monkey
When the Chinese New year kicks in, it won’t be without celebration in Paris. Parades, Markets, Concerts..the whole nine yards. Ai Wei Wei
The controversial artists is displaying some of his thought-provoking creations at Le Bon Marché. Check out his crazy sculptures at the dept. store. He’s gone bambootastic with dragons, kites and masks and they can be found throughout the store and in the window displays too.
A Fan of the Ballet?
Set to the music of Bach and created by choreographer Jerome Bel, the masterpiece Goldberg Variations is being performed this month at the Palais Garnier – Get you tickets!
Taste of Paris
Get a taste of french cuisine at the Grand Palais. The best restaurants in the city have clubbed together to give you some insight into the latest developments in gastronomy. Not only will the top chefs be there but there will be loads of top cooking products on sale too. February 11-14. http://paris.tastefestivals.com
The Paris Carnival
Every year, February welcomes this carnival – celebrated by the natives of this beautiful city. Typically the usual elements you would expect make the final presentation: the parades, music, workshops, mini shows. It kicks off at 1pm at Place de Gambetta in the 20eme, with the carnival moving through the streets of Paris to a rhythmic beat, finally arriving at Republique at around 5:5pm. Madonna does it and she ain’t alone! There are so many knitting obsessive and textile lovers out there and if that’s you then you’ll love Salon L’Aguille en Fête. This event is expecting over 5,000 visitors who get to paw over luscious fabrics, observe new trends and enjoy workshops and a gallery. Music to your Ears
Okay, this does sound truly fabulous and will definitely be on MLP’s hit list. This is a three-day music event where you basically can bring your instruments, meet other musicians, enjoy concerts and practice in what they call a ‘musical awakening session’. Plus, if you are a budding singer you can join a vocal group and warble your way through the afternoon with your kids – under the watchful gaze of an expert coach! If you are a big Scorcese fan or a film buff then you might want to check out this homage to one of the worlds most influential directors! Take a journey through his cinematic work ,then go by his box set and binge watch them! You’ll get to see some of the Directors own private collection too. Until Feb 14.
