Rant of the Day #1
MLP is hopping mad this morning! Yes folks, every now and then we get very cross and frustrated with this town and today is one of those days.
This morning, our children nearly got run over by a motorbike that was riding on the pavement. As we stepped out of our apartment building, a biker riding at full speed in front of our door almost flattened us!
Excuse-moi but last time we checked, pavements were meant for people. What the hell was this crazed lunatic thinking?
We cannot lie, this is a regular occurrence in Paris, so you have to keep your wits about you but it is something we have never understood.
Why is it necessary? Anyone out there know the answer?
Luckily we were quick enough to pull the kids back but we dread to think what could have happened!
Stay off the pavements bikers!
Rant over.
Sometimes you just got to let off some steam.

Quel imbecile – if i were you i would walk out the door carrying a ladder or, if i was in a good mood, one of those soft jousting weapons.
Good tactic Jim, as motorbikes on pavements is bloody lethal, and worryingly common in Paris…I don’t know why the Police don’t crack down in it
