Check out this season’s hot ticket!

When Atelier dés Lumières opened last year, it was incredibly popular, both in terms of critical acclaim and impressive ticket sales. The venue is a digital art centre created in a former foundry on rue Saint-Maur in the 11th district of Paris. The sheer scale of this industrial style building allows a creativity unimaginable, in some of the city’s more cramped art spaces.

It’s an immersive art experience run by Culturespaces and describes itself as a “workshop of lights”. Visitors were awestruck by last year’s Klimt extravaganza, which used light and music to bring Klimt to audiences in a completely new way.

So what’s next at Paris’ new favourite venue? Well, with ‘Starry Night’, starting 22 February, Gianfranco Iannuzzi, Renato Gatto and Massimiliano Siccardi have created a Van Gogh show, with musical input from Luca Longobardi. It promises to be the art event of the year and so we advise you to book your tickets!

This venue is especially family-friendly. The immersion into a light and music show means that you are not constantly having to shush your child as you might in a silent museum. It’s also a great jumping-off point to explore the 11th, a neighbourhood we love.
