Great news for kids in Paris.

President Francois Holland has announced that a selection of popular Paris museums will be open 7 days a week in.

Most museums in Paris are open for six days, closing on either a Monday or a Tuesday, but from this Autumn they will be open every single day! Why? So that schools will be encouraged to take the children to enable them to soak up the rich culture of the city.

Yet another great Paris initiative non? It will be so much easier for children to enjoy these fabulous spaces when they are open to cater, purely for their needs. The little people will have some of the worlds most visited museums all to themselves!

If your childs’ school doesn’t provide regular school outings, this is your chance to start lobbying! MLP’s kids rarely go with their school to see these places and it is a such a missed opportunity, so MLP is hoping that now this will change.

Paris Museums involved in this initiative include The Louvre, Musée D’Orsay and Château de Versailles. Each of these iconic cultural spaces have well over 9, 7 and 3 million visitors per year respectively.

Make sure your school takes full advantage.
